let number be xy
(x+y)4= 10x+y (as given)
x= y/2 (by solving above equation)
3xy = 10x+y (as given)
3* y/2*y =10*y/2 + y (substituting)
3y^2/2 = 12y/2
3y^2= 12y
3y( y- 4) =0
y= 4
x= 2
so number is 24 answer

proof:
24= (2+4)*4 = 24
24 = 3*2*4 = 24

hope this helps!!

Let the number be xy-----10x+y=4(x+y)

6x-3y=0

2x-y=0

2x=y

x=y/2 1

10x+y=3xy

5y+y=3y2/2

12y=3y2

3y2-12y=0

3y(y-4)

thwerefore y=4

2x=y

x=2
