the diameter of the hemispherical bowl = 14 cm

the radius of the hemisphere r = 14/2 = 7cm

the curved surface area of the bowl =2 pi*r^2 = 2 * 22/7 *7 *7

=308 cm^2

the total height of the vessel = 13 cm

the height of the cylindrical part = 13-7= 6 cm

the surface area of the cylinder =2 pi*r*h =2*22/7 *7*6 = 264 cm^2

total surface area of the vessel = surface area of the cylinder + surface area of the sphere

=308+264 =572 sq cm

the total surface area of the vessel  =572 sq cm   ANS

hope this helps you.
