A wall 6 m long, 5 m high and 0.5 m thick is to be constructed with bricks, each having length

25 cm, breadth 12.5 cm and height 7.5 cm. Find the number of bricks required to construct the

wall, if it is given that cement and sand mixture occupy of the volume of the wall.

here number of bricks required =>
volume of the wall / volume of the brick
=> 600*500*50 / 25*12.5*7.5
=> 15000000/ 2343.75=> 6400 bricks are needed
