a. At high altitudes, the outside air pressure is lower than it is inside your lungs, making it more difficult to pull in the thinner air and for your veins to pump oxygen throughout the body. The drug makes your body feel like you're at a high altitude, so a lot of the symptoms ofaltitude sickness are side effects.

b. Human bodies are used to air pressure. The air pressure in our lungs, ears and stomach is the same as the air pressure outside of our bodies, which ensures that we don't get crushed. Our bodies are also flexible enough to cope when the internal and external pressures aren't exactly the same.

hence, we dont feel the pressure exerted by the atmosphere.

Answer:

because when we move higher the height of the region where pressure is experience with respect to the atmospheredecreases which leads to the decrease in pressure since pressure is directly proportional to the height and this pressure is relatively lower than our blood pressure inside our body in the veins inside our body the blood pressure when becomes higher forces the veins, and can damage it which makes a person feel uneasy and can even be fatal

Explanation:

because the atmosphere exerts 10 to the power 5 Pascal pressure on us we do not feel this pressure because the blood pressure and the body pressure inside our body is approximately equal than compared to this pressure and therefore both the pressures balance each other and we do not feel it
