Answer:

a) Isobars are atoms  of different chemical elements that have the same number of nucleons.

Ex: 40S, 40Cl, 40Ar, 40K, and 40Ca.

b) Isotopes have same atomic number whereas isobars have different atomic number.

Isotopes have different mass number whereas isobars have same mass number.

c) An isotope of uranium is used as a fuel in nuclear reactors.

An isotope of cobalt is used in the treatment of cancer.

Hope It Would Be Helpful!!!

Answer:

1 - bar aur atom of different element with different atomic number but have same same mass number are known as isobar

example is calcium and organ

in isobar atom of different element with different atomic mass but have same mass number and in isotope of all isotopes of an element have same number of valence electron in the US have identical chemical properties

the uses of isotone carbon 14 is used in carbon dating isotope of Uranium is used as fuel in nuclear reactor isotope of Cobalt is used in treatment of cancer isotope of iodine is used in treatment of goitre
