Electromagnet induction is when an electric current can be produced in a closed circuit without the use of an electrochemical cell or battery by moving a bar magnet towards or away from the closed circuit.

in the experiment it was observed that when a bar magnet is when its north pole facing the coil was moved towards a coil the galvanometer shows the deflection and when the magnet is moved away from the coil galvanometer again showed the deflection but now in opposite direction.

when the bar magnet was stationary near the coil no deflection was observed.

it is used in electric generator and electric motor.

Faraday's law of induction is in this.
