- Each P2P WAN requires two ip addresses
- Each and every LAN should be connected to (n - 1) LANS. This is factor that we have n x (n - 1) connections.
- Initial LAN’s had data rates in the 4 to 16 Mbps range. Today, speeds are normally 100 or 1000 Mbps. Transmission delay is very short in a LAN. The smallest LAN may only use two computers, while larger LANs can have thousands of computers.
