A wheel makes 1000 revolution in covering distance of o.88km the radius of wheel will be ?

.No. of revolutions = 1000

Now

Distance travelled in 1 revolution = 2 * 22/7 * R

Distance travelled in 1000 revolutions = 2 * 22/7 * R * 1000

1000 * 2 * 22/7 * R = 88000

R = 88000 * 7/1000 * 2 * 22

= 14

Thus , radius of wheel = 14 m

and , diameter of wheel = 2 * R

= 2 * 14

= 28 m
