Perimeter of square = 15 x 4 = 60 cm

Since the same wire is changed to rectangle, the perimeter would be same. So,

Perimeter of rectangle = 60 cm

2(l+b) = 60

L + b = 60/2

L + b = 30

But length of the rectangle is 22 cm. So,

22 + b = 30

B = 30-22 = 8 cm

Area of square wire = (15)^2 = 225 cm^2

Area of rectangle wire = 22 x 8 = 176 cm^2

Difference = 225 - 176 = 49 cm^2

Hope it helps :)
