If the scooter turns to rest after the break has been applied with in 15 sec. what is the force applied by the brakes of the scooter ?​

Here,

u=120 kmph

=120×5/18

=20×5/3 m/s

=100/3 m/s

so, retardation= (u-v)/t

= 100/3×15

=20/9 ms^2

therefore, force applied = ma

= 160kg×20/9 ms/2

= 3200/9 Newton

= 355.56 Approximately
