Given :       A = \begin{bmatrix}  3 & 2 \\  1 & 1\end{bmatrix}    A² + aA + bI = 0

To Find :  a और b  ज्ञात कीजिए

Solution:

 A = \begin{bmatrix}  3 & 2 \\  1 & 1\end{bmatrix}

A² = A . A

=>  A² = \begin{bmatrix}  3 & 2 \\  1 & 1\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}  3 & 2 \\  1 & 1\end{bmatrix}

=> A^2 = \begin{bmatrix}  11 & 8 \\  4 & 3\end{bmatrix}

aA = \begin{bmatrix}  3a & 2a \\ a & a\end{bmatrix}

I = \begin{bmatrix}  1 & 0 \\  0 & 1 \end{bmatrix}

bI =   \begin{bmatrix}  b & 0 \\ 0 & b\end{bmatrix}

A² +aA + bI = 0

LHS = A² +aA + bI

= \begin{bmatrix}  11 & 8 \\  4 & 3\end{bmatrix}   +   \begin{bmatrix}  3a & 2a \\ a & a\end{bmatrix} + \begin{bmatrix}  b & 0 \\ 0 & b\end{bmatrix} \\ \\\\= \begin{bmatrix}  11+3a + b & 8+2a \\ 4+a & 3+a+b\end{bmatrix}

8 + 2a = 0  => a = - 4

4 + a = 0 => a = -4

3 + a + b = 0 => 3 - 4 + b = 0 => b  = 1

11 + 3a + b = 0 => 11 - 12 + 1 = 0

a = -4  , b = 1
