Question :-

  • ∆ABC is an equilateral traingle of side 6 cm. if D , E, F are mid point of ab,bc and ac. find perimeter of∆DEF.

Given :-

  • The sides of the equilateral triangle is 6cm.
  • The \bf \angle D, \: \angle E, \:  and \:  \angle F are the mid points of AB, BC, and CA.

To find :-

  • The perimeter of the equilateral triangle DEF.

Solution :-

  • We know that the mid points of the ∆ ABC is ∆DEF(given). Therefore, we can say that the sides of the inner triangle is half than the outer one. i.e., 3cm. each.
  • As observation we also can say that all sides are equal.

 \bf \therefore \: Perimeter \: of \: an \: equilateral \:  \triangle \: is  = \: 3 \times sides \:  \\  \bf =  \: 3 \times 3 cm. \\  \bf  ={ \purple \bigstar{ \underline { \boxed{ \bf \: 9cm.}}}}{ \purple \bigstar}

Answer:

✧ Question :-

∆ABC is an equilateral traingle of side 6 cm. if D , E, F are mid point of ab,bc and ac. find perimeter of∆DEF.

✧ Given :-

The sides of the equilateral triangle is 6cm.

The \bf \angle D, \: \angle E, \: and \: \angle F∠D,∠E,and∠F are the mid points of AB, BC, and CA.

✧ To find :-

The perimeter of the equilateral triangle DEF.

✧ Solution :-

We know that the mid points of the ∆ ABC is ∆DEF(given). Therefore, we can say that the sides of the inner triangle is half than the outer one. i.e., 3cm. each.

As observation we also can say that all sides are equal.

\begin{gathered}\bf \therefore \: Perimeter \: of \: an \: equilateral \: \triangle \: is = \: 3 \times sides \: \\ \bf = \: 3 \times 3 cm. \\ \bf ={ \purple \bigstar{ \underline { \boxed{ \bf \: 9cm.}}}}{ \purple \bigstar}\end{gathered}

∴Perimeterofanequilateral△is=3×sides

=3×3cm.

=★

9cm.
