the perpendicular is the height here.

the perpendicular divides the base into two equal parts

BD=DC=4.5cm

then, the area =(1/2×6×4.5)cm^2=13.5cm^2(ans)

when, perpendicular drawn from C
then,let,the height is=h and, base=7.5cm
A.T.P,
{1/2×h×(7.5/2)}=13.5
=>h×3.75=27
=>h=7.2cm

hope it will help you

Answer:area of triangle ABC =1/2×base×height

Step-by-step explanation:

=1/2×BC×AD

=1/2×9×6=27cm²

Area of triangle ABC=1/2×base×height

=1/2×AB×CE

27=1/2×7.5×CE

CE=7.2

Hope it helps you.
