given, AB = 10cm
AE = 8 cm
CF = 12cm
this question is wrong because
here perpendicular FC is 12cm where as hypotenuse DC is 10cm. This cannot happen because the length of hypotenuse is always bigger than the base or perpendicular.

Answer:
Area of //gm (ABCD) = CD x CE
=> Area of //gm (ABCD) = 10 x 8
=> Area of //gm (ABCD) = 80cm
=> Area of //gm (ABCD)= AD x CF
= 80 = AD x 12
= 80/12 = AD
= AD = 6.7cm
