The Kargil War, also known as the Kargil conflict, was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999 in the Kargil district of Kashmir and elsewhere along the Line of Control.

Kargil war was fought between india and pakistan on 1999.The mistake was of pakistan they ahve captured your certain part of land.

Kargil war is also known as Kargil conflict. It is fought between may and july months of 1999at kargil district which is located in kashmir near the Line of Control (LOC) . It was also named "Operation Vijay" by indian soldiers.
The cause of this war was take over of land near LOC by Pakistani soldiers ,the aim of these soldier was the independent Kashmiri insurgents.
