Answer:-

H = 16.8 kJ

Given :-

I = 2 A

R = 10  \Omega

t = 7 minutes

→ 7 × 60

→ 420 s

To find :-

The heat produced in the conductor.

Solution:-

By joule's Law of heating the heat produced in a conductor is given by :-

\huge \boxed{ H = I^2 R T}

Now ,

Put the value

 H = 2^2 \times 10 \times 420

 H = 4 \times 4200

 H = 16800 J

1 KJ = 1000J

=16800/1000

= 16.8 kJ

hence,

The heat produced in the conductor is 16.8 kJ.
