when gandhi ji was in SA he started passive resistance... according to him it was different from satyagraha...he stated that passive resistance was a movement for weak ..
but satyagraha was a weapon for strong..because according to him becoming a satyagrahi was not a easy task as he had to suffer a lot.it was a easy for everyone to become a satyagrahi..non-violence was a weapon for weak according to gandhiji
