So basically the poem says that the present formal education confines the child to a classroom where he/she has to spend his time in dismay like how a lively bird is trapped in a cage.The formal education does not help us to find our true potential and it also does not allow us to learn by experiences in life ...sitting in a room with a rain a knowledge will not help a child.It doesn’t let the learner to be who he is .
