The colon should be placed before the list of the fruits.

You can make use of semi colon as well.

The sentence will become:

According to my Yoga instructor, my healthy food choices should include more fruits: apples, oranges, kiwi and blueberries.

You can also write this sentence as:

According to my Yoga instructor, my healthy food choices should include more fruits; apples, oranges, kiwi and blueberries.
