➡REACTION OF ACIDS WITH METAL CARBONATES ⬅

❇Acids react with metals to form a corresponding metal salt, alongside Carbon dioxide and water also are produced .

It can be stated as follows :

Metal Carbonate + Acid --------------------Metal salt + CO2 + H2O

❇EXAMPLE ❇

HCl + Na2CO3 --------------NaCL + CO2 + H2O

⬆In the above example, hydrochloric acid reacts with sodium carbonate to from a Metal salt ( NaCl ) along with carbon dioxide and water.
