 Dissolve about a teaspoonful of copper sulphate (blue vitriol) in about half a cup of water in a glass tumbler or a beaker.
 Add a few drops of dilute sulphuric acid to the solution.
 Drop a nail into the remaining solution.
 Wait for half an hour or so.


Questions:
1. Do you see any change in the colour of the solution after half an hour ?
2. If yes, then observe the colour of the solution & compare it with the colour of the sample solution saved separately saved separately.
3. Write any two observations based on the above activity.
4. Also, write all the chemical reactions involved.
