Additive identity of integer is zero (0) .

Zero (0) is an additive identity for integers, i.e., a + 0 = 0 + a = a for any integer a .

Because, When we add zero to any integer the result is the same integer again. Zero is the additive identity for integers. If we add zero to any integer the result is the same integer again. This property is known as additive identity property.
