advantage of aneroid barometer-:

It can be carried from one place to another without any apprehension of damage to the instrument whereas this is not possible in the case of mercury barometer. Further it can be fitted to an aircraft to sustain variations and rolls of the aircraft whereas a mercury barometer cannot be fitted like this.But an aneroid barometer is subject to errors owing to temperature and hystersis lag and these cannot be fully eliminated.
