Advantages and disadvantages of environmental policy

Environmental policy have several advantages but still there may be some draw backs if not proper policy adopt.
Advantages:
1) The environmental policy helps to clean the environment hence the pollution can be reduced by using these.
2) A environmental policy result lowering of all kind of pollution thus helps the societies to become healthier .
3)It avoids the unnecessary usage of things.
4) A good environmental policy may lead to a environmental friendly innovation thus helps a business establishment.

Disadvantages:
1) cost is the major disadvantage of a environmental policy as there is need of money to implement it.
2) If there is no public support to a policy it would be a failure , also sometime public response can severe for example if you are protecting a natural area and people have high rely on that particular area.
