Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) is a strategy within general community development for rehabilitation, equalization of opportunities and social inclusion of all people with disabilities (2). Approximately two decades have passed since the concept of community based rehabilitation (CBR) was presented as a strategy for improving the lives of people with disabilities. But, despite the progress made in the past two decades, there are still millions of people with disabilities do not receive basic rehabilitation services and are not participating equally in school, work, or social activities.

Now advantages are:-

2. Less expensive
3. Existing community responses and resources
4. Focus on quality rather than quantity
5. Multiple approaches based on community needs
