work of an Adverb. It may, therefore, modify some verb, adjective, or Advert
in the main clause; as,

You are taller than I thought.
He ran so quickly that he soon overtook me.
Adverb clauses are of many kinds and may be classified as Adverb Clauses
of:-
1. Time
2. Place. 3. Purpose.
4. Cause.
5. Condition 6. Result. 7. Comparison
8. Supposition or Concession.

Answer:
An adverb clause also begins with a subordinating conjunction, such as "after," "if," "because" and "although." If you see a group of words in a sentence that acts like an adverb but does not have both a subject and a verb, it's an adverb phrase.
