The titanosaur, scientifically known as Titanosauria, is an African dinosaur. They were the last remaining group of long-necked sauropods.

The largest titanosaur uncovered by archaeologists is the Argentinosaurus. It weighed 60,000 to 100,000 kilograms and could grow up to a height of 22 to 35 metres.

Unfortunately, these creatures were wiped from the face of the earth during the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event when an asteroid hit the planet about 66 million years ago.
