After rains when do rain drops dry away easily-on a cloudy day or a sunny day? Give reason also.

After rain, the rain drops which have fallen get dried up faster in the presence of sun. The warmer the air the more water it can take up. On a sunny day the atmosphere doesn't contain much water vapour so it can take up the water for the drops and then it dries up faster. Whereas on a cloudy day the atmosphere is humid and moist so it cannot easily take up the water(rain drops).
It is as the same as we eat much food when pour tummy is empty while we prefer only very little food when we already have taken some food. I've compared rain drops with food and the atmosphere with tummy

Hope this helps you!!
