(2) Sultanapur.

In 1323, the Delhi Sultanate led by Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq marched an army that was commanded by his son Ulugh Khan or Muhammad bin Tughluq towards the Kakatiya capital of Warangal.

This was after the then Kakatiya ruler Prataparudra refused for making any tribute payments.

Ulugh Khan's first war for Warangal failed due to a rebellion based on a false rumour about Ghiyath al-Din's death in Delhi.

Then, Ulugh Khan retreated to Devagiri.

Later, he returned to Warangal after four months with reinforcements.

He defeated Prataparudra and took him captive thereby ending the Kakatiya dynasty.
