Explanation:

  • In today's Jharkhand, in East India, the rebellion of Santhal, commonly called Santhal Hool, was an uprising against the colonial administration authority of the British as well as against the "Zamindari system" by the "Santhal people". The Santhals revolt began in India, in the tribal belt of what had previously been called the Bengale Presidency, as a reaction towards an end to the repressive British system of revenue, ""usury practices, and "zamindari system" It was a rebellion against the injustice of colonial rule spread by the "local zamindars, the police & the courts" of the law set up by the British, via a distorted revenue system. • After division of Bhagalpur and Birbhum, S anthal Pargana District was established in 1885. Santhal Mutiny in 1854-1855 was a primary cause behind the formation of Santhal Pargana. Daman-i-Koh was the area where the Santhals were concentrated. It stretched in the south from "Bhagalpur to Orissa". The Santhals felt by the 1850s that the "time had come to rebel" against the "zamindar", the "money lenders' and the "British colonial state" to create an "ideal world" for themselves  to govern. The "Santhal Pargana" was built after the "Santhal Revolt" (1855-56), 5500 sq miles away from the "Bhagalpur & Birbhum" districts.
