jhum is an traditional agriculture system in which people use the land and then after harvesting they burn the land and move from that place this is also called slash and burn

Jumming is a type of agriculture where trees of a particular place is cut and burnt . After that the ashes are mixes with the soil and as a result the soil becomes fertile. This is mainly done in North Eastern States of India as the soil there is not fertile.
