Air has less mass than water. is the pressure exerted by water greater or less than the pressure exerted by air?​

Dear Student ,

Pressure is force per unit area .

So , Pressure , P = F /A = mg / A

So pressure is directly proportional to the mass .

So water will exert more pressure than the air .

it depends on that how much pressure is exerted by the both water and air.

but by the way I think water will exert more pressure than the pressure exerted by air.
