Ajayand vijay undertake to do a piece of work for rs. 480. ajay alone can do it in75 days while vijay alone can do it in 40 days. with the help of pradeep, theyfinish the work in 25 days. how much should pradeep get for his work?

Vijay can complete work in days = 40

With the help of pradeep, they finish the work in 25 days.

With pradeep 1 day work = \frac{1}{25}

So, Pradeep's 1 day work  = \frac{1}{25}-(\frac{1}{75}+\frac{1}{40})

Pradeep's 1 day work  = \frac{1}{600}

ratio of their 1 day work =  \frac{1}{75}: \frac{1}{40}:\frac{1}{600}

                                      = 8:15:1

Sum of ratios = 8+15+1 =24

So, Pradeep's share = \frac{1}{24} \times 480

Pradeep's share =Rs.20

Hence  pradeep get Rs.20 for his work
