Yes , all living things breathe ,Because when they breathe they inhale O2 and give out CO2 .


This O2 combines with glucose and inturn convert into energy ATP


So its a source of energy for living organism .


And ......


From where do they get this O2 ?



Answer to this question is :-


Plants take CO2 and give out O2 and 21% Oxygen is present in Atmosphere so from there we human beings take Oxygen

Yes all organism breathe for their survival

Some orgainsms intake oxygen aerobically and some anaerobically

Organism like human,dog,catetc respire aerobically

Organisms like yeast respire anaerobically

Anaerobic organism s respire in absence of oxygen with the help of fermentation process


The Anaerobic process can be represented as -

Glucose------------pyruvate------------carbondioxide+water+energy
