According to reactivity seies, Aluminium is more reactive than iron.
When aluminium reacts with oxygen, it forms a layer of oxide which prevents further oxidation of aluminium.
When iron reacts with oxygen, it forms a oxide layer ( rust ) which fells down and iron again get oxidised and corroded.
