Aman's age is three times his son's age.The years ago he was five times his son's age.Find their present ages.

Let Alan's son's age is c years
Then Raman's age is 3c years

before 5 years
age of Aman's son =(c–5)years
And age of Aman = 5(c–5)

But before 5 years Aman' age must be (3c-5)
so
3c–5 = 5(c–5)
3c–5=5c –25
5c-3c=25-5
2c=20
c=10

So present age of Aman's son is 10yrs ang present age of Aman is 3× 10=30yrs
