Amit runs around a rectangular park which is 120m long and 80m wide.
perimeter of rectangular park= 2(length+breadth)
= 2(120+80) m
= 2*200 m
= 400 m
Sonam ran around a square park of side 95 m five times,
perimeter of square = 4* side m
= 4*95 m
= 380 m
If both runs around 5 times then
Amit runs = 5*400 =2000 m
Sonam runs = 5*380 = 1900m
So, Amit runs 100 m more than soman.
Hope it helps you.
