Let the smaller angle be x

Larger angle = x+44

ATP

x+x+44=180

=> 2x = 180-44

=> 2x = 136

=> x = 136/2

=> x = 68

Therefore,

Smaller angle = x = 68

Larger angle = x + 44 = 68+44 = 112

Hope it helps...

Answer:

the sum of supplementary angles 180

let be first angle x

let second angle y

A.T.Q

x + y = 180 _______(i)

x = 180 - y

x = y + 44__________ (ii)

x - y = 44

180 - y - y = 44

- 2y = 44 - 180

- 2y = - 136

y = 136/2

y = 68

put the value of y in eq (i)

x + y = 180

x + 68 = 180

x = 180 - 68

x = 112

Hence, x + y = 180

112 + 68 = 180
