According to given question :-
u= 180km/hr = 50m/s
v= 0
t = 1.5min = 9sec
s=?
a=?
Using first equation of motion..
v= u + at
0 = 50+a(9)
-50/9 = a
a = -5.555 m/s^2
Therefore restardation is 5.5m/s^2
Using second eq. of motion ....
s = ut + 1/2 at^2
s = 50*9 + 1/2(5.6)(81)
s= 450+ 226.8
s= 676.8 m
Distance is 677 m
