Answer:

750 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance traveled by aeroplane in 1 1/2 = 3/2 hours towards north direction

=> 300 * 3/2

=> 150*3

=> 450 km

So AB = 450 m.

Distance travelled by aeroplane in 3/2 hours towards north direction =

=> 400*3/2

=> 200*3

=> 600 km

So BC = 600 km.

Now from Pythagorus theorem

     AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

=> AC^2 = (450)^2 + (650)^2

=> AC^2 = 202500 + 360000

=> AC^2 = 562500

=> AC = √562500

=> AC = 750 m.

Hence, distance between two planes after 3/2 hours = 750 km.

Answer:

750 km in one and half hour

Step-by-step explanation:

In one hour the planes travel 300km and 400km respectively, if those travel an extra half an hour then it's value will be added by half so the value must be taken in one and half hour so 450km and 600km are taken.

so the final answer is 750 km in one and half an hour
