an alkyl halide on reaction with alcKCN gives the cyanide as the major product but with alcAgCN gives isocyanide. Why?

because in the AgCN C and N twins can give electrons. CN bond weak less then C-C bond.and in the alcKCN only N give the electron.so alkyl halide on reaction with alcKCN gives the cyanide as the major product but with alcAgCN gives isocyanide
