Let Weight of Copper=7x

Let Weight of Zinc=3x

Total Weight of Alloy

=Weight of Copper +Weight of Zinc

=7x+3x

=10x

Weight of Alloy=10x

And Weight of Copper=7x=12.6 gram

Weight of Zinc=3x

So

Weight of (Copper +Zinc)=Weight of Alloy

7x+3x=10x

12.6+3x=10x

12.6=10x-3x

12.6=7x

x=12.6/7

x=1.8

Value of X=1.8

Weight of Zinc=3x

=3×1.8

=5.4 grams
