Solutions :-
Given :
An alloy of Copper and Iron weight = 6 kg 500 g = 6.5 kg
The ratio of Copper to Iron is 8 : 5
Let the weight of Copper and Iron be 8x and 5x respectively.
A/q
=> 8x + 5x = 6.5
=> 13x = 6.5
=> x = 6.5/13 = 0.5
Therefore,
Copper = 8x = 8 × 0.5 = 4 kg
Iron = 5x = 5 × 0.5 = 2.5 kg = 2 kg 500 g
Hence,
It contains 2 kg 500 g of Iron.

Solutions :-
We have,
Alloy of Copper and Iron weight = 6 kg 500 g = 6500 g
Ratio of Copper to Iron is 8 : 5
Let the weight of Copper be 8x
And Iron be 5x
Find the value of x :-
A/q
=> 8x + 5x = 6500
=> 13x = 6500
=> x = 6500/13 = 500
So,
Copper = 8x = 8 × 500 = 4000 g = 4kg
Iron = 5x = 5 × 500 = 2500 g = 2kg 500g
Answer : It contains Iron = 2500 g or 2 kg 500 g
