The equation formed is .....

x + (2x - 45) = 180°

Where x is the initial angle and the angle subtracted is the angle formed on the basis o conditions given in the question..

Solving the equation

x + 2x - 45 = 180°

3x - 45 = 180°

3x = 180°+45°

3x = 225°

x = 225°/3

Solving this you'll get 75° as the value of angle xx

2x - 45 = 2*75 - 45

= 150-45 = 105°

So the greater angle is 105°

Hope this helps
