we know that
atomic mass = no. of protons + no of neutrons..
we know that
atomic number = no. of protons = no. of electrons.
given
neutrons= 7
=> 13 = no. of protons + 7
=> 13 - 7. = no of protons
=> 6 = no. of protons.
