Solution :
Cost price of an article ( c.p ) = Rs 200
loss ( l ) = 10%
reduction ( r ) = 5%
Selling price ( s.p )
= c.p[(100-l)/100][(100-r)/100]
= 200[(100-10)/100][(100-5)/100]
= 200×(90/100)(95/100)
= ( 2 × 9 × 95 )/10
= 9 × 19
= 171
Therefore ,
Selling price of the article = Rs 171

Solution:
C.P.:Rs.200
LOSS℅ :10℅
LOSS :10℅ of 200
:Rs.180
Further,
loss℅:5℅
loss:5℅ of 180
:Rs.171
So, S.P. will be Rs.171
C.P.:Rs.200
