an athlete is moving in a circular track of radius 70 metres .calculate the distance and displacement when he completes half of the circular track.

Hey!!!...Here is ur answer

Radius (r)= 70 m

So the circumference of the circular track= 2pi r

= 2×70×pi

=> 140 ×22/7

=> 440 m

so the distance = 2×pi×r/2

=> (22/7)×70

=> 220 m

and the displacement = diameter of circular track

=> displacement = 2×70

=> 140 m
