POWER = 1000 WATT
CHANGE IN KWH
1000/1000=1KWH
E=P*T
E=1*2
E=2KWH

FOR 30 DAYS IT will be
2*30=60kwh
the cost of energy is 5rupees per kwh
5*60
=rs 300

Thanks for asking

Given :

Power (P) = 1000 W

Potential (V) = 220 V

Time of operation in a day = 2 hours

To Find :

Cost of operation of electric heater for 30 days

Solution :

We know, Energy = Power × Time

                              =  1000 × 2

                              = 2000 WH

                              =  2 KWH

Cost of operating electric heater for 30 days at Rs 5/KWH = 30×5×2

                                                                                                 = Rs. 300

Therefore, the cost of operating electric heater for 30 days working 2 hours per day at Rs. 5 per KWH is found to be Rs. 300
