power = work/time
or
P = W/t

so
2kW => 2k joule work in every second

potential change to lift height 'h' for a body of mass 'm' under gravitational force
is = mgh

so
mgh/t = P

t = 60sec
h = 10m
P = 2kW
g = 10m/s²

so
m = Pt/gh
m = 2000×60÷(10×10)
m = 1200kg

so pump lift 1200kg of water in every minute

hope it helps you

Adityaadidangi: to make it easy to solve
vaishnavi656: no it is not given but gravity measure in 9.8m
Adityaadidangi: we use both
Adityaadidangi: but generally 10m/s² is better option to make easy solution
Adityaadidangi: but if the answer isn't matching
Adityaadidangi: then use g=9.8m/s²
Adityaadidangi: otherwise g=10m/s² is ok
vaishnavi656: ok thanks
Adityaadidangi: what is the answer?
vaishnavi656: that ans is1224kg
