An electric resistor has resistance of 12 ohm and 0.5 A of current passing through it and calculate it's power

3 Watts

Electric power=voltage×current

given,

R=12ohm

I=0.5A

V=IR.

V=0.5×12

=6V.

so,power=6×0.5

=3Watt
